You can help Children in Guatemala in many ways:

  • First of all we ask you to pray for  the orphans and for the people trying to help them often with very limited means. We ask to pray for our family as we walk our journey and try to discern how God really wants us to these children. Finally, please pray to know if this is something you are called to help us with.

  • You can sponsor a child. A periodic (monthly or quarterly) commitment will provide a child with food and/or cloths and/or the opportunity to receive an education and help break the cycle of poverty. Contact us directly for details on how to do that.

  • You can donate through our website. We provide the funds to the orphanages, feeding centers or other organizations we know are reputable based on their direct needs.  Parts of the funds collected may also be used for administrative expenses like shipments of goods to Guatemala and/or our travel expenses to/from Guatemala. You can donate quickly and securely using Paypal. Just click on the button below and you will be redirected to a secure donation page on Paypal.com.

We are in the process of applying for 501(c)3 non-profit status, so that your contributions can be tax deductible. Thanks for your patience.

  • We also collect used clothing, baby items (diapers, wipes, formula, etc.) and medicines which are then hand-carried or shipped to Guatemala. You are invited to send them to us, at the address shown on our Contact page or, if you prefer, you may send them directly to Orphan Resources, in Pennsylvania (www.orphanresources.org). They ship containers to Guatemala regularly and we often send what we have collected to them anyway. Please contact us before sending any used items, as some items cannot be imported into Guatemala.
